Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email, and optionally your phone number. As you use the 6F System, we store the goals, reflections, scripture notes, and check-ins you create. Payment information is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card data. If you chat with Six, our AI guide, we process the messages you type there.

What we do not collect

We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not mine your reflections for content. What you write in the 6F System is between you, your spouse, and the Lord.

Services we use

We rely on a few providers to run the 6F System, and they process your data only to provide their service to us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Twilio (text messages, only if you add a phone number). Messages you send to Six are processed through Vercel's AI Gateway by third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google), so please don't share private details about your marriage in that chat. Six never sees your goals or reflections.

Who can see your data

Only the two members of your covenant can read your goals and reflections. System administrators have technical access to the database for operations purposes; we access individual data only when necessary for support or compliance.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and our database provider encrypts stored data at rest. We keep a security log of sign-ins and important account changes, including IP address and browser, to protect your account. Security log entries are deleted automatically after 18 months.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time from your settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, weekly reflections, and check-ins. If your spouse is still in your covenant, your shared goals stay with them; if you are the last member, the whole covenant is deleted and your subscription is cancelled. Cancel your subscription, and your data remains yours.

Emails and texts

We send the emails your account needs, such as spouse invitations and password resets. Weekly reflection reminders are on by default; the daily verse email and text messages are off unless you turn them on. You can change these at any time in your notification settings.
